Eligibility Criteria for Director & Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Director: Officers from Central or State Government/ Autonomous Bodies and Having background and seven years experience of administering and implementation or enforcement of food laws
• Joint Director ( Technical ): or Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institution in field of Chemistry/ Bio chemistry/ Food Technology/ Edible Oil Technology/ Nutrition/ Toxicology/ Nano Technology or any other related disciplines with twelve years experience of working in research and development in laboratory/ Research institutes/ Scientific Organizations/ safety out of which at least four years should be in managerial capacity Or Doctorate Degree in any of the aforesaid subjects with six years experience of working in research and development in Laboratories/ Research Institutes/ Safety out of which at least three years should be in managerial capacity.
• Deputy Director: Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institution in field of Chemistry/ Bio chemistry/ Food Technology/ Edible Oil Technology/ Nutrition/ Toxicology/ Nano Technology or any other related disciplines with six years experience of working in research and development in laboratory/ Research institutes/ Scientific Organizations/ safety out of which at least three years should be in supervisory capacity Or Doctorate Degree in any of the aforesaid subjects with four years experience of working in research and development in Laboratories/ Research Institutes/ Scientific Organizations/ Safety out of which at least two years should be in supervisory capacity.
• Assistant Director: Masters Degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institution in field of Chemistry/ Bio chemistry/ Food Technology/ Edible Oil Technology/ Nutrition/ Toxicology/ Nano Technology or any other related disciplines with twoyears experience of working in research and development in laboratory/ Research institutes/ Scientific Organizations/ safety out of which at least three years should be in supervisory capacity.
• Librarian: Master's Degree in Library Science with not less than 55% marks from recognized university or institution or equivalent from a recognized university
